Our Story

Thanks for stopping by! We’re Renae Egeberg and Jennifer Getz, the owners of Custom Stitches and Designs, a locally owned custom apparel and gift business serving Bismarck-Mandan and beyond.

Our story started long before CSD. We both grew up in Kenmare, North Dakota, but really became friends while working together at daycare in 2013. We started our first business, Itty Bitty Bibs, sewing baby products together. As our creativity and ideas grew, so did the business.

In 2017, Custom Stitches and Designs was born.

Over the years, our little business has grown right along with us. Today, we create custom apparel, embroidery, team and organization gear, personalized gifts, laser-engraved products, our signature minky blankets, and so much more.

We especially love working with local schools, sports teams, businesses and organizations to create products that feel completely their own. From one special gift to hundreds of pieces of team apparel, everything that leaves our shop gets the same attention to detail.

CSD is still owned and operated by the two of us right here in Bismarck-Mandan. Behind the business, we're also moms, friends, and two people who genuinely love turning an idea into something you can hold, wear, gift or keep.
